I think that too often we forget about the other things that make up a lifestyle change. It's not all cucumbers and fitness dvd's. (Though I love those things...)


Get ENGAGED in your life. Do things you LOVE. Find JOY. #truth too many people are getting too much of their joy from food. We have to do MORE to FEEL more joy and fulfillment and once we find more fulfillment we'll find our healthy mombods naturally. And maybe we won't even care what the crap we weigh, because we aren't holding back from LIVING no matter our size.


Healthy lifestyle is living a life you love. It's eating mostly food that makes you feel good not sluggish. Its not stressing out when you eat something purely for JOY. It's finding a fitness routine that you adore not despise. It's getting the eff up off the couch to do what you enjoy NOW, not after you've conquered the scale. It's saying "I'm worth some clothes that fit THIS BODY, not the one I'll have a year from now. You are worth the effort and joy right now. AS IS.


Through LIVING we find our joy. Through being actively engaged and accepting and loving of ourselves now we find our health. And though likely our bods will follow suit with this lifestyle change, it won't HAVE to for happiness.
